Come and enjoy an Anne of Green Gables tour with us. The main focus of this tour is the homestead of the world-renowned author, Lucy Maud Montgomery. The Anne tour begins with a brief tour of historic downtown Charlottetown. We will then travel through the picturesque rolling hills and farmlands of Prince Edward Island, Our first stop is Cymbria where one of the oldest houses, the first Bank Of Canada, and the oldest Roman Catholic church is located. There is a lot to see in this small area!
From there, we are en route to the Acadian village, North Rustico. This little French town is well known for its world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf Lobster Suppers. Tuna and deep-sea fishing excursions are also popular. We then travel along the Coast where you will be awed by the magnificent red cliffs that we are famous for!
Upon arrival in Cavendish, our next stop will be at the Green Gables Heritage Place, that is situated in the Prince Edward Island National Park. Throughout your visit, you’ll be immersed in many aspects of Island culture that inspired the magic of Anne of Green Gables and be able to follow the very footsteps that Lucy Maud took herself. An Anne tour just isn’t complete without a visit to the Prince Edward Island Preserve Company – where you can sample handcrafted jams, jellies and teas. After, enjoy a relaxing, scenic drive back to Charlottetown.
For the ULTIMATE ANNE EXPERIENCE you can add ( this adds an additional 1.5 hours on to the original tour):
